Kieran Cheer, Director
I started my career in a physio department of a special school and then, over the next ten years, developing a rehabilitation engineering service, designing and manufacturing equipment for pupils in the school and local area. In 2001 I moved into the private sector and specialized in the assessment and manufacture of custom-made seating. I am an Incorporated member of The Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine and a Registered Clinical Technologist. I am proud of the specialist seating that I and Consolor provide to clients and the difference that it makes to their lives.
Simon Keeling, Director
My career started in 1988 when I joined a company within the private sector to become a seating technician. I moved my career on to design and develop seating products and clinical services for several other companies within this exciting sector. Incorporated within the register for clinical technologists, I have focused the last 20 years of my career towards the detailed assessment of clients and subsequent provision of specialized seating and mobility solutions. I am constantly energized by the difference our focus at Consolor can deliver to clients.
Russell Mears, Clinical Seating Specialist
I began my career focusing on pressure care in seating and lying in 1999. This work fuelled my interest in protecting individuals posture within seating and enabling their function. This led me on to successfully develop a seating division within a highly respected international company. I became part of the Consolor team in 2009 and I feel privileged to be able to work with the children and adults that I meet on a daily basis. It's great to be able to provide them with top quality bespoke seating that is most appropriate for them, throughout the many clinics that I cover across the country.
Mark Travers, Product Specialist
I began my career in engineering which eventually took me in the direction of working in power stations world wide. The desire to spend more time back in the uk drew me towards a new role working with a mobility dealer in 2002, where i started out my career within the posture and mobility industry. After just 2 years working with children and providing them with buggies and standing frames i was offered a role with a manufacturer of modular supportive seating systems. There I continued to develop and expand my skills and experiences in seating for the next 7 years. In January 2012 I joined Consolor to take Delfi Pro and Sharky range of seating products to a wider audience, where i can use my skills with one of the worlds most advanced seating systems.
