Delivered a Moulded seat to a young athetoid girl today in Bolton. I couldn't cast her due to her severe athetoid movements, so i had to make the cast from measures. She sat great in the seat which also helped dampen down some of the athetosis....its great when you get these results

Delivered a matrix seating system today which has used flexible and hinging components built into the seat's thoracic supports to act more like a spinal jacket mounted on a wheelchair. The thoracics swing out the way and the upper support has a hinging anterior support to help reduce rotation of the trunk. Because the thoracics are wrapped around the trunk and are held in place with an adjustable belt the amount of correction can be adjusted and different thickness of clothes can be compensated for too.
Carved foam back in Delfi Pro

Delivered a Delfi Pro today which had a carved foam back pad in it to help the young lad have more support behind him, to accommodate a slight asymmetry (rotation) in his back. We also added a swing away lateral to one side and the whole thing fitted into a Snappi buggy, which was his existing buggy, so mum and dad could still fold it down to get it in and out of the family car.
